Society for Musicology in Ireland Careers Forum, 10 December 2016: Thesis Completion and Publishing


The second SMI student careers forum takes place on 10 December 2016, 12:00 –13:30 at University College Dublin. This event will be kindly co-hosted by the ICTM-IE/ SMI Postgraduate Conference, organised by the UCD School of Music and will focus on thesis completion and publication procedures.

Invited guest speakers are:

  • Dr Paul Everett (University College Cork, Founder and Editorial Board Member of JSMI);
  • Dr Jaime Jones (University College Dublin, Head of School);
  • Dr Áine Mangaoang (University of Oslo, Postdoctoral Research Fellow);
  • Prof. Christopher Morris (Maynooth University, Head of Department, Associate Editor of The Opera Quarterly); and
  • Prof. Bennett Zon (Durham University, General Editor of Nineteenth-Century Music Review and Director of the Centre for Nineteenth-Century Studies).
